Kathleen joined SilverSource in 2013, and is directly responsible for management of staff and monitoring of all agency services and initiatives. New School for Social Research, BFA; Coursework: MIT and USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, Certificate Advanced Concepts in an Aging Society. Extensive experience in non-profit social services management. Chair of the Southwestern CT Agency on Aging (SWCAA) Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the Mayor’s Advisory Council on Aging for the City of Stamford CT, member, Trumbull Commission on Aging, and member of the Steering Committee of Stamford’s Vita Health & Wellness Partnership. Samira Schmitz, Chief Operating Officer Oversees finance, administration, operations and compliance; Samira joined SilverSource in 2024 and drives innovation and operational effectiveness to optimize efficiency and community impact. Formerly served as a Vice President at US Chemicals, and was previously the Vice President, Global Operations at Americares. She began working at Americares as Director, Treasury & Investments. Her early career was with JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch. Bachelors degree in Economics, Fordham University. Member, Executive Team.
Alison Heim, LCSW, Chief Program Officer Leads implementation of all client case-management services and serves as program leader, advisor and facilitator. Joined SilverSource in 2011; previously served as a SWCAA (Southwestern CT Agency on Aging) Care Manager. Masters in Social Work, Fordham University; CT License in Clinical Social Work; 18 years working with Stamford’s senior population; extensive experience in adult mental health and eldercare counseling. Member, Executive Team.
Marianne Delaney, Chief Development Officer [email protected] / 203.324.6584 ext. 302 Leads all fund development and communications initiatives, including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of government, foundation, corporate and community funders, individual donors and community partners. Joined SilverSource in 2018. Extensive experience as a Development Director in human service organizations in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Masters in Marketing Communications. Member, Executive Team.
Samuel Connor, VP Development, Major Gifts and Planned Giving Samuel is a development and communications professional with over two decades of leadership experience in advancing organizations across the U.S., the Caribbean and Africa. Most recently, he served as Director of Development and Communications for the Haitian Education & Leadership Program (HELP), where he led major gifts, planned giving and global communication strategies supporting scholars in Haiti and the diaspora. Previously, Samuel held senior leadership roles at Save the Children and the Anti-Defamation League, where he led fund development initiatives focused on protecting vulnerable populations and addressing complex social challenges.
